Don’t Miss Yoga on the Magnolia Terrace This September
Carlyle House Historic Park boasts beautiful, dense forests rife with vibrant greenery, native animals, and plenty of fresh air. You’ll have a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the treetops when you come to Yoga on the Magnolia Terrace, held on the brick patio at the historic Carlyle House. The covered deck overlooks the park’s natural splendor.
Every Tuesday and Thursday evening and Saturday morning this month, a seasoned yoga instructor will lead an hour-long community class on the terrace—and it’s only $10 to attend! Harness the power of your breath as you gently move between beginner-friendly poses, starting with sun salutations before advancing to postures that require balance and flexibility. The class culminates in a dreamy savasana that will quiet your mind and restore your body. The classes are available for all levels of ability, so everyone is welcome! Bring your own mat, wear comfy clothes, and don’t forget water and a towel. If you’d like to attend multiple classes, you can score a deal by grabbing a five-class pass for just $40 (a discount of $2 per class).
